What CAQA Bids can and cannot promise about tender, grant and procurement outcomes.
Information on the CAQA Bids website is general in nature and is not a substitute for tailored professional advice. CAQA provides consulting advice through agreed scopes of work based on the information supplied by the client, applicable regulatory settings and the purpose of the engagement. Regulatory, funding, accreditation, audit, legal, financial, certification or approval outcomes are determined by the relevant authority, body or decision-maker and cannot be guaranteed by website content.
This No-Win Disclaimer applies to every service offered by CAQA Bids, including tender writing, grant applications, procurement responses, panel applications and bid reviews. It exists so that training organisations, education providers, businesses, not-for-profits, community organisations and government suppliers who use this website understand exactly what a professional bid service can and cannot promise before they engage us.
CAQA Bids can materially improve the quality of your submission. We can structure your response around the published evaluation criteria, make sure every mandatory requirement and compliance item is addressed, strengthen the evidence behind your claims, sharpen the clarity and readability of your writing, align pricing schedules and attachments with the request documents, and quality-assure the final package before lodgement. These are the factors within a bidder’s control, and they are where professional support genuinely lifts performance.
CAQA Bids cannot guarantee that any tender will be awarded, any grant will be funded, any procurement response will be shortlisted or any panel application will be accepted. Award, funding and procurement outcomes are decided solely by the procuring agency, evaluation panel, funding body or other decision-maker running the process. No consultant, writer or adviser can promise a win, and you should treat any provider who guarantees success with caution.
Tender and grant outcomes depend on factors that no bidder or adviser controls, including the number and strength of competing submissions, the weightings and scoring approach applied by the evaluators, available budget and program funding levels, eligibility rulings, changes to program priorities, probity requirements, value-for-money judgements and the discretion retained by the decision-maker in the request documentation. Even a compliant, well-evidenced and well-written bid can be unsuccessful for reasons entirely unrelated to its quality.
Fees quoted by CAQA Bids are for the professional work we perform: research, writing, editing, structuring, compliance checking and review. Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, fees are payable regardless of the outcome of the tender, grant or procurement process, and we do not offer success-fee or no-win-no-fee arrangements. No payments are taken through this website; all fees are quoted and invoiced under a written engagement agreement, as described in our Client Engagement Terms.
Our support relates to bid strategy, writing, compliance with the request documentation and evidence quality. It is not legal advice, financial advice, probity advice or a substitute for reading the official tender or grant documents yourself. Where an opportunity raises legal, contractual, financial or probity questions, you should obtain advice from an appropriately qualified professional before submitting. We may recommend that you do so where we identify such issues during an engagement.
The quality of any submission depends on the accuracy and completeness of the information, evidence and documentation supplied by your organisation. We rely on what you give us and do not independently audit or verify client-supplied claims, data or credentials. Responsibility for the truthfulness of the final submission rests with the organisation lodging it.
If a submission is unsuccessful, we encourage clients to request an evaluator debrief where the process offers one. We can help you interpret debrief feedback, identify improvement areas and strengthen future submissions, but a debrief review is a new piece of work and does not alter fees for the completed engagement.
